Well, this is pretty much the last of the Jersey pictures. After looking at them again, I'm reminded how awesome the aftermath of that ice storm was. Check out the ice bridge - first time I've ever seen anything like that. It was about 16 inches long, and even had a slight arch. It probably formed from the steam rising from the stream below it. Pretty amazing.

I hope you have some of these photos framed. Their composition is wonderful -- I love that tree!

someday. I'll be buying a condo (not sure where yet) in a few years, and after I do I'll be filling the walls with my photos and my art, and maybe even a few of my own poems. Where I live now has very, very limited wall space. but someday!

and yes, that ice bridge still awes me. how cool is that? there were others, but this was the largest and the most intact. I still haven't figured out how they form - it's amazing they form at all.

and the tree, heh, taking that shot I was jsut about straddling the tree, and my head and upper body was tilted so far back I almost fell. lol. the adventures of a wandering photographer!
